CORSICANA -- A Navarro County man is in jail after dragging a police officer 300 feet during a drug investigation.

Around 3:00 p.m. Wednesday officers from the Corsicana Police Department were conducting an investigation into alleged illegal activity in Kerens.

54-year-old Timothy Glenn White was in his vehicle when officer Kenneth Dunagan reached inside to put the vehicle in park.
